What Are the Best Essential Oils to Use for Edema?
To begin, let's take a look at which oils you can use to treat this condition.
This oil has anti-inflammatory properties that will help significantly reduce swelling.
Fennel is a natural inflammatory that helps relieve discomfort and pain caused by the swelling of Edema. It helps reduce the inflammation of the condition.
This is also a strong anti-inflammatory and will quickly reduce painful swelling.
Sometimes referred to as Rose Geranium oil, Geranium balances oil glands that trigger skin to become inflammed and swollen.
Juniper Berry oil
This is yet another oil with strong anti-inflammatory properties. It's used to reduce swelling.
Lemon essential oil is a powerful solution for nearly all infections. It has a highly unique anti-inflammatory affect that quickly reduces pain and swelling.

How Do I Use and Essential Oil Blends for My Edema?
In almost all cases, the essential oil applicaton you'll use for Edema will be applied topically. You'll mix a few drops of the chosen essential oils into a carrier oil, such as sweet almond oil, and gently apply the mixture directly over the area that's affected.
There are some very specific and effective blends and techniques to use when you're looking for maximum efficiency.
1. Blend of Rosemary, Grapefruit, and Juniper Berry Oils
Add 10 drops each of Rosemary, Grapefruit and Juniper Berry oils, along with two tablespoons of sweet almond oil directly in a glass (always glass) dropper bottle.
Place five to seven drops of the blend directly to your swollen areas. Then perform deep massaging motions directly toward your heart. This will assist in draining the excess fluid from your body.
2. Blend of Grapefruit and Cypress Oil
This is going to be used in a foot bath.
In a hot bath tub, place 1/4 cup of Epsom salts while the water is filling the tub. Allow salt to fully dissolve in the water. When the tub is about half-full, add 10 drops each of Grapefruit and Cypress oils.
Put your feet into the tub and soak for a minimum of 15 minutes.
Only do this once every two weeks.
3. Edema Massage Oil
Add ten drops each of Lemon, Geranium, Juniper and Cypress oils with four tablespoons of oliver oil into a glass dropper.
Take five to seven drops of the massage oil into your palm and rub the oil with both palms directly into the affected area.
